What is tavin em ?

Tavin em tablet is a combination medicine used for the treatment of treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infections. Tavin em medicine is not a cure for HIV; tavin em only prevents the virus from multiplying in your body.

Monitoring of liver function and kidney function may be necessary while receiving this medicine based on the clinical condition. Tavin em medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 12 years of age.

When it is prescribed for ?

HIV infection

This pill is used in the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection.

Pre-exposure prophylaxis

This drug is used in a combination with safe-sex practices to reduce the risk of sexually acquired HIV infection in adults at high risk.

• Fatigue
• Weakness
• Headache
• Nausea
• Diarrhoea
• Muscle pain
• Pain
• Dizziness
• Depression

When not to use ?

• Severe renal impairment
  This medication is not suggested for use in patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance less than 30 ml/min) due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects.
• Allergy
  This pill is not suggested for use in patients with a known allergy to tenofovir, emtricitabine, or any other inactive ingredients present along with these medicines.
