What is dexamethasone 8 mg tablet ?

Dexamethasone 8 mg is used to treat conditions such as asthma, disorders of the blood / hormone / immune system, allergic reactions, some skin and eye conditions, respiratory issues, certain gastrointestinal disorders, and certain cancers. It is sometimes used as a measure for a dysfunction of the adrenal gland (Cushing ‘s syndrome).

This drug is a hormone of the corticosteroid (glucocorticoid). This decreases the normal defense mechanism of the body, which decreases symptoms such as swelling which reactions of the allergic kind.
