What is cardiovascular disease?
A very broad phrase is the expression “heart disease”. Valvular heart disease can be inherited. Valvular heart disease can also be caused by certain diseases, such as rheumatic fever, and certain medicines or radiation therapies for cancer. The pericardial disorder is inflammation (pericarditis), stiffness (constrictive pericarditis) or retention (pericardial effusion), or pericardium.
