Water soluble vitamins are required in the daily diet. Some of the water soluble vitamins involve B complex group and vitamin C.
Vitamins are compounds that are found in very small amounts in natural foodstuffs. Diet is the main source of vitamins, but it can also be derived through vitamin supplements. Primarily, vitamins are necessary for the metabolism in the body, proper development of the organs of the body and energy.

2. Vitamin B
Vitamin B consists of eight water soluble vitamins that are essential for the human body and the body can’t stand to need.
Vitamin B1 – It is also called thiamine and it is important for the metabolism in the body. It is also necessary for the normal functioning of the afraid system.
Vitamin B2 – It is also called riboflavin and it plays a critical role in energy that we derive from the food we eat.
Vitamin B3 – It is also called niacin and it is liable for many body activities such as digestion, appetite, nerves, and the health of the skin.
Vitamin B5 – It is also called pantothenic acid and it plays a role in the combination of hormones and metabolism of fat, proteins, and carbohydrates.
Vitamin B6 – It is also called pyridoxine and it is one of the most critical hormones for the normal functioning of the brain.
Vitamin B7 – It is also known as biotin and it is important to produce energy from the carbohydrates and metabolism from fat and proteins.
Vitamin B9- It is also known as folate and it is responsible for protecting the cells in the body.
Vitamin B12 – It is also known as cobalamin and it plays a role in maintaining the health of red blood cells and the nerve cells.
3. Vitamin C
Vitamin C is considered to be an important vitamin for human health. It is also called ascorbic acid and it becomes from the class of water dissolved vitamins. According to the studies, vitamin C can be considered as a useful food ingredient due to its antioxidant properties.
Functional food means that include biologically active compounds that are known to have health benefits in treating and preventing various chronic diseases. The chemical structure of vitamin C overcome certain enzymes by providing them with electrons.
The side effects of deficiency of vitamin C takes longer to develop. Insufficiency of vitamin C causes a drop of blood plasma levels. Undefined fatigue is the most explicit side effect of deficiency of vitamin C. Deficiency of vitamin C can cause many health problems. But, it should be remembered that the overdose of vitamin C is also risky for human health.
4. Vitamin D
Vitamin D become to the group of fat dissolved vitamins and it is important for a many number of psychological process, that is necessary to maintain optimal health. Mainly vitamin D is for two types:
Vitamin D3 – It is formed in the skin after exposure to ultraviolet B radiation.
Vitamin D2 – It is formed through irradiation of ergosterol in plants, analogous to human generation from sunlight.
Sunlight is the easiest source of vitamin D. Vitamin D is the most main vitamin that is necessary for the health of the bones. Deficiency of vitamin D is highly connected with bone related diseases such as osteoporosis.
Osteoporosis is a disease in which bones become weak and prone to fracture even after a small fall. It is caused because of low bone mineralization. Deficiency of vitamin D is one of the most common reason for low bone mineralization. According to the researchers, most of the patients having osteoporosis lacks vitamin D in their body.
5. Vitamin E
Vitamin E becomes from the group of fat soluble vitamins and vitamin E is the main vitamin for the human body. It acts as an antioxidant and then secure the cells of the body from damage due to free radicals. Vitamin E is also required by the body to maintain the health of the immune system.
It boosts immune health. The immune system is the important system in the body which protects the body against bacterias, fungi, and other invaders. Vitamin E is required for the normal functioning of the immune system and protecting the body against various diseases. An adequate amount of vitamin E is main for human health.
